Small (1.5mm.), dark brown to black oval lady beetle. Adults are able to find small spider mite infestations. Both adults and larvae feed on spider mites including two-spotted, European red, spruce and southern red.
RELEASE RATE: 100 Stethorus per hot spot or 10 Stethorus per infested plants weekly for 3 to 4 introductions.
SPECIAL NOTES: Needs 16 hours of light. Stethorus works very well with P. persimilis to provide a fast knock down and extended control as the Stethorus become established.
